The Presbyterian New Horizons Preschool is an Early Childhood, Family Support Program which provides a safe, loving, nurturing environment that promotes the growth and development of all children. It has been of service to the community of Las Vegas for thirty-five years having been established on June 25, 1973. Children are allowed opportunity to develop physically, socially, emotionally and cognitively by providing them many experiences. Parents are respected and encouraged to assist us in providing support to meet the needs of all children.

New Horizons has Non-Profit Status and is licensed and accredited by the State of New Mexico. The Director, Ms. Shirley S. Sandoval has Early Childhood experience since 1974 and is certified in Early Childhood. The Director and staff all exceed current New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Licensing requirements. The staff is also trained in CPR and First Aid.

Preschool Education is mid-August through May. Summer Care is June through mid- August. Hours of operation are weekdays from 7:30AM to 12:10PM for Preschool and 12:10PM to 5:30PM for Afternoon and After School Childcare. New Horizons is licensed to accept children from age two and higher. Full and part-time students are accepted.
